Everyone has a stereotype of who a missionary is, a missional mirage if you will. These Archetypes display a multi-dimensional picture of how single men can serve within God's Kingdom mission.

Description
The call of adventure propels the Explorer forward into the unknown. Novelty and wanderlust animate your imagination. In God's Kingdom work, they help craft literal and figural paths to the ends of the earth. They start new things, discover new places, and declare Good News where it hasn't yet been heard.

Description
Missions is not a violent war against the nations, but the Warrior is a glad servant and faithful soldier for the Good News. He is the man whose heart yearns for justice and moves to press back the darkness, to rescue the downtrodden. Among the nations, he stands as a humble messenger of the Good King.

Description
Serving the Lord, the Philosopher is not some pointless ponderer. He does not sit in a house full of books with a head overflowing with knowledge to do nothing. He shares. He guides. He proclaims the glories of a magnificent God. Moving overseas, he does not leave his mind behind. Instead, partnering with the Giver of Wisdom, he counsels and strategizes so the people of the nations might enter the Kingdom of the Lord.

Description
The Entertainer naturally draws people to themselves. He never meets a stranger, somehow making each person feel connected, even if only they just met in line for coffee. Working from the purpose and person of God, he presents people with a compelling reason to follow and serve the Lord. Leading from the place of a servant, he will reflect the image of Jesus to the nations.

The Technician operates in two fields, the systematic and the artistic. He will not relegate his talents to a secular career or paltry hobby. As Paul served the Gentiles in and through his tentmaking so too does the craftsman make known the glories of a Creator God. He devotes his wise hands to building the Kingdom of God among the far reaches of the world.
